I don't think I would ever risk my life for something like a piece of paper or anything that is non-living. If I were ever to risk my life, it would be for someone that I really cared about, like a family member or a friend. A person would mean so much more to me if I lost them then a object. If I were to loose someone that I cared about it would really impact me because I loved them so much and it is always hard to loose someone you really care about. If I ever had to risk my life to save them I defiantly would.
