“Animal Farm” Revolution at SPA

If there was a revoltuion at San Pasqual Academy where the students took over, there would be many things that would be different. At first all the students would work together to overthrow all the staff and supervisors. They would work together and come up with palns undercover. After Whent the student take over there would be a power struggle over who would be the leader. Everyone would want to be the leader of the campus and for who would make the rules of the campus. I think ther would ba a lot of arguing and fighting at first but, then ther would be vote. There would be some unreasonable rules and some good ones. After a couple of months of the students ruling things would start to fall apart and the old campus staff would try to take over again. The students would fall because of others wanting to take over, like staff and other students.

“Through the Tunnel” Prove Yourself Paragraph

When I was seven years old I was living at my foster parents who lived in a small apartment complex in San Diego and all my friends from the complex were doing things to prove that they were brave like riding their bikes over ramps and stealing fruit from the neighbors trees. They were calling me a scardy cat so I decided that I needed to prove that I was more brave then all of them. I decided to climb our giant tree we had in the middle of the complex, which was taller then all the buildings, and jump off and land on my feet. I started to climb the tree and when I was about ten feet off the ground I started to get scared, but I knew I couldn't back down. When I got to the top everyone was yelling for me to jump. I looked at the ground, took a deep breath, and jumped. When I hit the ground my feet were the first thing that hit the ground and then my knees buckled and I fell on my stomach. All my breath in my lungs came out and i got the wind knocked out of me. I couldn't breath or talk for about a whole minute. It was so painful and crazy that I knew it was the dumbest thing I had ever done. I felt unaccomplished, but in the end I knew that I really was the bravest of them all. Looking back on the experience I regret doing it because I know now that I didn't have to prove myself to anyone.

My Winter Break Narrative

My winter break was extremely adventurous. this break I went to my friend, Janeth’s, House. I spent New Year with them and it was the best I had ever had. The most memorable day was New Years Eve. That day we threw a big party. We cooked a goat which turned out really good. It was cooked in the ground covered in cactus leaves with hot coals at the bottom of it, and it was then buried in the ground to cook for twelve hours.Later that day we went to go drive quads on the ranch where they live. We found a really big area where we set up fruit crates as gaols and we all played soccer. We set up teams and played for about two hours. My team won. When we were all worn out we went back to the house to play some card games. Then when it got dark everyone went outside and set up a small bonfire where we roasted marshmallows and played music. Everyone ended up dancing and laughing. Finally when it was about 10:00 it was time to uncover the goat and take it out. It was so crazy and cool to watch them take out the goat. Later we ate it. It was so good. I had never eaten goat before but it was really good. it tasted like a combination of pork and beef. When it was about to be midnight we all gathered together near the bonfire, and when the clock struck twelve, everyone screamed, “Feliz año nuevo!” Then there were hugs and talking everywhere. All of the kids and some of the adults stayed up till 4:00am. When we went to go to bed, everyone fell asleep fast from being worn out and having fun all day long. It was the best day I ever had. I hope that maybe next year our New Year will be even greater.

Shop 'til You Drop Extra Credit

At Shop 'til You Drop I ahd a lot of fun. When I walked in I was greeted by Joan Scott the leader of the Friends of San Pasqual. I got a bag and a nametag. Then they told me to just go and pick out somethings I like. So I went and got some pajama pant, a little notebook, and some new socks for basketball. There was this couple there who were super generous to us all, they spend their own money to buy all of us each an Ipod. They were the new Nanos, and mine was silver. There was even a photo booth there where all the kids could go in and take pictures with all their friends. I took pictures with amy and Breanna. We had a lot of fun. We also got stockings that were full of candy and other nick nacks. they were cute. I am really greatful to the Friends of San Pasqual for doing this for us every year.
